Shop Opening Day - Product List and Preview!

I can hardly believe we're here! After a year of daydreaming and several months of preparation, the Austens & Alcotts shop is open TODAY. After making the early announcement nearly two weeks ago, and sharing with you on Instagram and in my newsletters an early peak of the items available on the shop, I'm ecstatic to finally let you get your hands on the bookish goods!

Before we go any further, I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported this endeavor, messaged me on social media, liked, commented, shared, reposted, and shown me so much love and support since I made this announcement. I see every one of you, and it has truly meant the world to me. Thank you!!

I want to walk you through the six items available on the shop right now, and give you an in-depth peak—as well as offer you a little coupon code at the end!!

So, without further do, let's unveil the first product!

1. Little Women Motif Notecard Print Set of 5 with Envelopes

From my Little Women motif watercolor artwork, I designed these five notecard designs: one to represent each of the four March sisters with motifs/symbols/objects corresponding with their characters, as well as a fifth design featuring the names "Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy." I had so much fun designing these and choosing five objects for each of the girls—and I love how the color scheme turned out, as it fits each of the girls' personalities so well!

The five notecards are really versatile—they're like art prints, bookmarks, wall art and stationary, all rolled up into one. You don't have to use them as notecards, but if you do, they come with five white envelopes for all your stationary-sending needs. :)

My original watercolor design:

The finished product:

The back of the cards, as pictured, leaves room for you to write and share, and features the Austens & Alcotts logo in small typeface at the bottom. The cards measure 4x5.5" inches, or 10.5x14 cm—the perfect notecard size, I find! The matching white envelopes are of the same size. The notecards are printed on high-quality matte cardstock and faithfully represent the colors of my original watercolor designs.

2. Little Women Motif Mug, 11 oz.

Can't get enough of these adorable Little Women motifs?? You're in luck, because I've also created matching mugs! Featuring four rows, top to bottom in order of Meg, Jo, Beth, Amy, all in full-color wraparound printing. The 11 oz. mug is both dishwasher and microwave safe!

Here's a view of the other side...

Perfect for holding a hot mug of your favorite autumnal drink! :)

3. Emma and Mr. Knightley Jane Austen Bookmark

Ok, this one might just be my favorite of all the reveals. I just adore it! It's no secret I'm a big fan of the Emma (2020) film directed by Autumn de Wilde, and I had to immortalize my love for Emma and Mr. Knightley by painting a recreation of the beautiful proposal scene. The white lilacs, the green embroidery on the white dress, Mr. Knightley's stumbling words!!! Oh, how I loved that. This bookmark is the perfect bookish Austen treat to remember it by!

"I cannot make speeches, Emma. If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more."

Measuring 2x8 inches (5x20 cm) and printed on thick, durable high-quality cardstock, gloss-coated on the front (oh la la!!). The back features a pale-green floral watercolor design with the Austens and Alcotts logo centered.

Let me level with you, I'm probably the biggest fan of this bookmark! I've been using my own copy for reading and it's oh so lovely!!

4. Jane Austen Clothbound Classics Bookmark

The second of my Austen bookmarks features my watercolor illustration of the Jane Austen Penguin Clothbound Classics with the quote: "But for my own part, if a book is well written, I always find it too short."

This pale-pink and oh-so-pretty bookmark was a lot of fun to design, as I got to look at my books whilst painting them! ;) Just as the Emma bookmark, this one measures 2x8 inches, is printed on high-quality, thick, durable cardstock, and the front side is gloss-coated. The back features a pale pink floral watercolor design with my logo centered in front, (below).

Another reason to love these Austen bookmarks? I'm offering free shipping anywhere in the United States!!

5. Anne of Green Gables "Kindred Spirits" Matte Art Print, 4x6"

Oh, how I love this one too!! Featuring my watercolor illustration of Anne and Diana from L.M.Montgomery's beloved classic, Anne of Green Gables, with the quote: "Kindred spirits are not so scarce as I used to think." This matte-finish, high-quality art print measures 4x6 inches (10x15 cm) and is the perfect gift/goodie for the Anne-loving heart!

In addition to an art print, it's sweet size makes makes this print rather versatile, and it may be used as a sharable card (with room for writing on the back!), a framable nursery/office wall print, or even a bookmark.

6. Heidi's Goats, Matte Art Print, 5x7"

Another favorite of mine! Inspired by Johanna Spyri's beloved Swiss classic, Heidi, this matte watercolor art print is the perfect sweet addition to your office/nursery/children's room decor. Heidi is one of my absolute favorite children's classics, and I had so much fun painting this little scene of Heidi amid her goats with the mountains in the distance. I just adore it!

The art print measures 5x7 inches (13x18 cm) and is printed on high-quality, durable, coated matte, and faithfully represents the colors of my original painting. The back of the print is white, uncoated and may be written on, and features the Austens & Alcotts logo in small black typeface at the bottom.

Your print will be placed in this sealed red stationary envelope — which will then be placed in a padded mailer to ensure protection to your purchase.
